We have had a few calls and texts already inquiring about blackberry picking, so here’s a little update.
We are hoping/expecting to open for picking just after the 4th of July, however, due to cool and wet spring, ripeness may be delayed a few days to one week. The best advice is to subscribe to this site and you will receive updates as they are posted.
We experienced significant losses due to the sub-zero weather we had last winter and will likely see a 25-33% drop in total production. The north side of the berry patch bore the brunt of the damage, but the south side looks really strong this year.
As always we have honey available for purchase at the farm, or you may visit one of our retail partners. Circle E Country Market on Hwy 96 east of Carthage and Cloud’s Meats in Carthage both carry our products.
Thanks for stopping by, and we hope to see you soon!
